The Garage/Elliott Coffee received the Cincinnati Preservation 2026 Preservation Excellence Awards’ Impact Award for transforming a historic Dayton building into a neighborhood gathering space.
Led by Yard & Co., the project reimagined The Garage as Elliott Coffee, located at 825 6th Ave. in Dayton, creating a destination that has helped spark renewed community activity and connection in the heart of Dayton.
“Through thoughtful preservation and creative reuse, the project demonstrates the powerful impact historic spaces can have on neighborhood revitalization,” said Cincinnati Preservation in a Facebook post announcing the win.
