The Chair is in receipt of the following resignation letter:
March 24, 2026
Madame Speaker,
It is with a grateful and humble heart that I submit this letter of resignation as State Representative of the
12th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, effective March 31, 2026.
Reflecting upon my time in the General Assembly, I am overcome with appreciation, reverence and motivation.
I extend my sincere thanks to you and your staff for your support during this transition.
In 2022, I saw my toddler take off down the halls of this Chamber and in the blink of an eye he reached the end and
came back as a boy. Listening and watching as the tiny footsteps riddled with laughter became stronger, louder and
heavier with each step and passing term - I wish the best for you and our colleagues as we walk run towards a
better Pennsylvania.
Truly yours,
The Honorable Stephenie G. Anderson Scialabba, Esq.
Member, Pennsylvania House of Representatives
12th Legislative District
