The Nevada Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (NGCDD) is thrilled to announce a new opportunity to celebrate Nevada authors who are part of the disability community or whose work focuses on disability experiences.
We want to showcase diverse voices and stories that strengthen our community. Anyone can submit an author for consideration—authors can nominate themselves, or family, friends, colleagues, or community members can submit on their behalf.

What We’re Looking For:
- Authors with ties to Nevada
- Work that represents or highlights disability experiences
- Any genre including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoir, academic work, or children’s literature
Submissions will be reviewed for inclusion in NGCDD programs, events, and publications. Help us celebrate the incredible contributions of authors in Nevada’s disability community!
