PENNSYLVANIA, March 17 - WHEREAS, After graduation, Specialist Lopez further pursued

his education at Shippensburg University, continuing to prepare

himself for a future defined by responsibility, service and

leadership; and

WHEREAS, Specialist Lopez proudly served as a 31B Military

Police Officer with LEAD Directorate of Emergency Services Law

Enforcement Division, where he was assigned to the 947th

Quartermaster Company and carried out his duties with honor,

vigilance and unwavering commitment to the safety and security

of others; and

WHEREAS, The Letterkenny Army Depot community, led by

Commander Colonel Caleb Lewis, expressed profound sorrow and

heartbreak at the loss of this young soldier, recognizing

Specialist Lopez as a valued member of their team whose

dedication to the mission and to his fellow soldiers reflected

the highest standards of military service; and

WHEREAS, In recognition of his dedicated service and

sacrifice, Private First Class Lopez was posthumously promoted

to the rank of Specialist, ensuring that his service and

commitment to duty are honored and remembered; and

WHEREAS, Specialist Lopez is remembered by his loved ones as

a young man of compassion, loyalty and joy, whose twin sister,

Kiki Lopez, lovingly described him as the "greatest brother

ever," a brother who always made people laugh, who always placed

his family first and whose bright smile brought light to those

around him; and

WHEREAS, The communities of Biglerville, Adams County and

throughout this Commonwealth have come together in grief and

remembrance, offering prayers and support to the Lopez family

while honoring a young man whose life, though tragically brief,
