MPD Arrests Suspect for Pointing a Handgun at a Man
The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a man for pointing a handgun at another individual during a road rage incident in Northeast.
On Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:49 p.m., the suspect, who was driving a black Infiniti SUV on I-295, pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle, brandished a handgun, and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then verbally berated the victim before fleeing the scene.
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant 38-year-old Melvin Lasane, of Temple Hills, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
