MPD Arrests Carjacking Suspect
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Carjacking Task Force announce an arrest in an Armed Carjacking offense that occurred in the Sixth District.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in the 300 block of Anacostia Road, Southeast, the suspect confronted a victim with a handgun while demanding their keys. The victim complied and the suspect attempted to flee. Responding officers stopped the suspect and took him into custody.
19-year-old Khalill Boyd of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Carjacking.
