‘Pull n’ Plant’ at Baduwa’t Estuary on March 23

WHAT: Watershed Awareness Volunteer Event

WHO: California Trout, McKinleyville Community Services District, and Watershed Stewards Program

WHEN: Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

WHERE: Intersection of School Road and Ocean Drive in McKinleyville (street parking only)

BACKGROUND: This is a free event open to the public to help remove invasive plants and plant native trees in the recently restored Baduwa’t estuary. Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle and must wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and long pants. The event is open to all ages, but participants under 18 must have an adult sign a liability form. There will be free food and a raffle!
