PENNSYLVANIA, May 2 - WHEREAS, Twenty of the 80 All-Americans in the 2022-2023 NCAA

wrestling season either wrestled for a Pennsylvania university

or are Pennsylvania natives; and

WHEREAS, Nino Bonaccorsi, from Bethel Park, Trent Hidlay,

from Lewistown, Mikey Labriola, from Easton, Ethan Laird, from

McKean, Spencer Lee, from Murrysville, Max Murin, from

Ebensburg, Sammy Sasso, from Nazareth, Ed Scott, from Dubois,

and Ethan Smith, from Latrobe, are Pennsylvania natives who

wrestled in the 2022-2023 NCAA Championship Tournament and

earned the distinction of All-American; and

WHEREAS, Will Feldkamp, who wrestled for Clarion University

of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, Josh

Humphreys, who wrestled for Lehigh University, and Anthony Noto,

who wrestled for Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania's State

System of Higher Education, competed at the 2022-2023 NCAA

Championship Tournament; and

WHEREAS, In his fourth appearance at the NCAA Championship

Tournament, The Ohio State University wrestler Sammy Sasso

placed second in the 149-pound division; and

WHEREAS, In his fourth appearance at the NCAA Championship

Tournament, Lehigh University wrestler Josh Humphreys placed

third in the 157-pound division; and

WHEREAS, In his fourth appearance at the NCAA Championship

Tournament, University of Nebraska wrestler Mikey Labriola

placed second in the 174-pound division; and

WHEREAS, In his fourth appearance at the NCAA Championship

Tournament, University of Pittsburgh wrestler Nino Bonaccorsi

won his first NCAA wrestling title in the 197-pound division;

therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate congratulate The Pennsylvania State
