Getting more attached to a petition for review
Now, under rule 8.504(b)(4) & (5), the only documents that must be attached or bound to a petition for review are the Court of Appeal opinion or order of which review is sought. The proposal would add a new subdivision (6) that states, “If the petition seeks review of a Court of Appeal order summarily denying a writ petition, a copy of the underlying trial court order” must be attached or bound.
