The Outstanding Team Award recognizes workgroups that promote a collegial, supportive environment characterized by positive morale. An accomplished team exhibits collaborative problem-solving or the creation of new relationships that improve work processes marked by efficiency and superior performance.

The District 9 Adult Probation Team has consistently shown that they can overcome any difficulties that get in the way of supporting their clients. In the past year, the team has banded together to confront issues as a unit – tackling staffing concerns, lending extra hands to assist with drug testing, and extending themselves beyond their typical roles to ensure that all work gets done. Despite several hurdles, the team maintained effective communication, ensuring that they uplifted each other.  Their mutual support and persistence enabled them to effectively assist their probation clients.
