STEM Education Seminar and Training Attracts 200 Participants

A three-day STEM Education Seminar and Training at Paro College of Education (PCE), Royal University of Bhutan, ended on October 15th, 2022. Organized by PCE and supported by the Bhutan Foundation, the seminar aimed to promote STEM education among school teachers, teacher educators, and educational administrators.

The academic event, which began on October 13th, has drawn more than 200 participants from agencies, institutes, and schools in Haa, Paro, and Thimphu districts and is facilitated by local and international experts. 

The college is also working to develop human resource capacity in Bhutan’s education colleges through curriculum reform, innovative teaching and learning approaches, and technology integration in the classroom. After the seminar, the college will pursue local and international partnerships to develop STEM education programs in teacher education throughout the country.
