SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On the above date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police- Shaftsbury Barracks were conducting routine patrol in the area of US Route 7 in Shaftsbury. A truck was observed traveling south on US Route 7 in excessive speed and passing cars on the left and right. The truck was stopped, and the driver was identified as Bradley Jelly of Bennington.

 

Jelly was issued a citation to appear in Bennington County Superior Court for the offense of Negligent Operation and later mailed a VCVC for speed under Title 23 VSA 1004 toatling $185 and 2 points.
