VIOLATION:

 

"Negligent operation," a violation of Title 23 VSA 1091 

 

"Operating vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances," a violation of Title 23 VSA 1201

 

ACCUSED:  Christopher Hart                                             

AGE: 32

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Fair Haven, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On July 13, 2022, at approximately 0108 hours, a Trooper with the Vermont State Police observed a motorcycle traveling north at an egregious high rate of speed. The target vehicle was captured on radar at a speed of 94 MPH in a posted 50 MPH zone. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Christopher Hart (32) of Fair Haven, VT.

 

Hart was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing. Hart was later issued a criminal citation to appear before the Addison Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date to answer the aforementioned charges. Hart was also issued $817.00 worth of VCVCs.
