Justice Groban separate statement calls for review of harmless error case
Justice Groban’s separate statement says the court should have reviewed the Third District majority’s conclusion that the erroneous admission of evidence was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt as to the murder conviction. He writes that Supreme Court review would “provide additional guidance to our lower courts on how to apply the Chapman standard for review of constitutional error.”
