A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the importance of maple producers and the maple
production industry in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Maple producers have a significant role in the
economy of this Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, Pennsylvania produced 169,000 gallons of maple syrup
from 710,000 taps in 2020; and
WHEREAS, Several Pennsylvania maple producer organizations
celebrate and highlight the industry in March by inviting the
public to touring and tasting events; and
WHEREAS, Maple producers deserve recognition for the role
they play in the economy of this Commonwealth; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate recognize the importance of maple
producers and the maple production industry in Pennsylvania.
