AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, in registration of vehicles, further providing for

person with disability plate and placard.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Section 1338 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

§ 1338. Person with disability plate and placard.

(c.3) Placard issuance by legislative district offices.--

(1) Upon request by a legislative district office, the

department shall permit the legislative district office to

issue temporary disability parking placards directly to

individuals. The department shall supply the legislative

district office with training and materials related to

issuing, storing, ordering and returning placards.

(2) A temporary disability parking placard may be issued

upon application by an individual to the legislative district
