Gov. Henry McMaster Suspends Bamberg County Councilman Kerry Kinard

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Following the indictment of Bamberg County Councilman Kerry Trent Kinard, Governor Henry McMaster today issued Executive Order 2020-69, suspending Kinard from office.

Kinard is suspended until such a time as he shall be formally acquitted or convicted, or until a duly elected successor is qualified and takes the oath of office.
