Contra Costa extends ban on rent increases, evictions
The ordinance allows evictions only to protect the landlord or other tenants’ health and safety, if the landlord or immediate family members intend to live in the rental property or if the landlord is removing the rental unit from the market under terms of the Ellis Act.
