Maritime security experts to gather at London cyber security conference

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, January 5, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Leading security experts will gather in London in early 2018 to explore how the global maritime industry can better protect itself against cyber attacks.

Taking place on March 13th & 14th 2018 at the Marriot Regents Park Hotel the Cyber Senate Maritime Cyber Security conference will explore how the industry can identify potential security weaknesses in its infrastructure and develop a cohesive response that will allow key Maritime infrastructure to be protected.

The two-day conference, will include multiple panel discussions and Q&A opportunities. Key topics to be discussed include managing supply chain and third party risk, incident response, public and private information sharing, the potential for new regulation, developing security operation centres and developing intelligence feeds.

The discussion will also centre around many of the operational issues surrounding managing cyber security, such as defining objectives, getting buy-in from the C-Suite, developing a culture of awareness and addressing the skills gap.
