The First-Ever Educator-Chosen STEM List is Announced

Four national teachers’ groups and the CBC have chosen the 31 best STEM books

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, December 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Children’s Book Council (CBC) has announced the Best STEM Books list, the first-ever teacher-approved STEM list for educators, librarians, parents, and guardians for exceptional books with STEM content. Four groups reviewed and determined the 31 Best STEM titles, culled from a list of 328 submissions: the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA), the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and the Society of Elementary Presidential Awardees (SEPA).

The 2017 Preview List is now available at www.cbcbooks.org/best-stem/, with a fully annotated list to follow in January 2017.

The project was coordinated by the Children’s Book Council over a four-month nomination and voting period.
