Calistoga culinary scene spotlights 13 restaurants during third annual destination event

CALISTOGA, CA, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The culinary scene in Calistoga will hold center stage on its main street as the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce prepares for the third annual Calistoga Harvest Table® event on Sunday, Sept. 11. In celebration of a bountiful harvest season, 13 local restaurants and 44 wineries will welcome visitors and locals to a 1,000-foot-long table in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown. As one of the most sought after annual events in the Napa Valley, tickets sold out in less than a day; however, visitors without dinner tickets are welcome to mingle downtown and enjoy Calistoga area wines available for purchase by glass or bottle, from 4:30 to 5:45pm. Dinner will be served for almost 800 guests beginning at 6pm with a toast led by famed Chateau Montelena winemaker Bo Barrett in celebration of the Judgment of Paris 40th Anniversary. Calistoga Harvest Table® is the perfect opportunity for guests to enjoy the best cuisine Calistoga has to offer.

This year’s list of participating restaurants includes All Seasons Bistro, Boskos Trattoria, Café Sarafornia, Calistoga Kitchen, Calistoga Inn, Napa Valley Crust, Sam’s Social Club, Hydro Bar & Grill and Checkers, among others. Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of incredible culinary offerings, from enticing Italian and innovative American fusion to delectable seafood and much more. During a promotion to the buildup to a July 18 sell-out on ticket sales, Calistoga resident Elizabeth Tangney won two tickets in the 2016 Calistoga Harvest Table® Getaway Contest. Elizabeth won two seats at Bo Barrett’s table hosted by Sam’s Social Club, one bottle of 2010 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, a one-night stay for two at Indian Springs Resort on the evening of Calistoga Harvest Table® and breakfast at Café Sarafornia next morning.
