The Garrett County Department of Public Utilities is advising McHenry water customers that there is a planned water outage scheduled for Tuesday, August 18^th between the hours of 8am and 4pm.  

Affected areas are expected to be Irwin Way, Green Jacket Court, and Lodestone Way.  

A contractor is installing a new water connection, and service will be restored as soon as the work is completed.  Please check cold water for discoloration before using.
