UPDATE: Legeer Road reopened 2:00pm 8/14/26

The Garrett County Department of Public Works – Roads Division hereby provides public notice that Legeer Road is closed due to a collapsed pipe. Legeer Road, at the intersection of Foxtown Road,  will be closed until further notice for repairs. 

Alternative detour routes for traffic include Dung Hill Road and Foxtown Road.       

The public may direct any questions to the Roads Division at 301-334-7488.
