Building Upon CCC Legacy at Iconic McWay Falls Overlook
Not for the faint of heart, and not merely just hanging out. CCC Inland Empire Corpsmembers literally hung out cliffside to help restore parts of the McWay Falls Overlook Trail in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park near Big Sur this past year.
Safety was a top priority. From testing cable ties every day, to harnesses and rope tying. The crew and our California State Parks trail experts created an elaborate system to build the historic trail back up, after Mother Nature helped tear it down.
