Wickford Barracks

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 9:17 PM, Troopers arrested Jesus Matos, age 33, of 19 Baily Street, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing / Delivering / Possession with Intent a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance (Methamphetamines), 2.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 1 Ounce to 1 Kilogram (Methamphetamines), 3.) Manufacturing / Delivering / Possession with Intent a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance (Cocaine), 4.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 1 Ounce to 1 Kilogram (Cocaine), 5.) Manufacturing / Delivering / Possession with Intent a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), 6.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 1 Ounce to 1 Kilogram (Fentanyl), 7.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance greater than 10 Grams (Crack/Cocaine), and 8.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Warwick Police Department for Simple Assault or Battery. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and subsequent warrant check conducted by Troopers Phillips and Castaneda. Matos was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court where he will be presented as a Probation Violator.
