NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC – To encourage public participation in county government, the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners is seeking interested residents to apply for appointment to the following boards and committees:
- New Hanover County Adult Home Care Community Advisory Committee
- New Hanover County Health and Human Services Board
- Category: Licensed Dentist
- New Hanover County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council
- Categories: Juvenile Defense Attorney and Under Age 21
- New Hanover County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee
- New Hanover County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
- New Hanover County Planning Board
- New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority
- Category: Vacation Rental Properties (100+) Owner Manager
Applicants must reside in New Hanover County.
Applications are due June 26, 2026, for Board consideration on July 13, 2026. Applications are available online at https://nhcgov.com/2919/Boards-Commissions-Committees.
