Incident Reported in Williams County

BISMARCK, ND – Kraken Operating, LLC notified the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division of a produced water spill at the Krabseth 1 SWD site. The incident occurred on February 2, approximately 10 miles southwest of Alamo, ND.

Kraken Operating, LLC reported that 1200 barrels of produced water were released onto location. As of February 3, 2026, 1200 barrels have been recovered.

A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor any additional cleanup required.
