Ways to Vote in the 2026 Primary

Mail-In Absentee Voting (Excuse Required)

Eligible voters who meet one of Kentucky’s designated absentee qualifications can vote by mail.

  • Deadline to request a ballot: May 5, 2026

  • Ballots must be received by: 6:00 p.m. on Election Day (May 19, 2026)

In-Person Absentee Voting (Excuse Required)

Qualified voters with an approved excuse may vote absentee in person at the Clerk’s Office during designated dates.
