April 2026 Update! | Madison County Broadband Expansion
Spectrum is continuing to work thoroughly across the County with more than 95% of poles approved. Most remaining poles are with Clark County (and a few with AT&T and Windstream that we are working through). We’ve started 2026 strong, activating 8 OLT areas and more than 400 homes. Spectrum expects work to continue aggressively through the Spring with the hopes of wrapping up the majority of all build areas by this Summer. A few remaining areas may leak into September, but we will pull in as much as we can into the Summer. We have several additional areas that are currently on track to activate in April and May, including BE11E, BE12E, BE13E, BE17E, BE19E, RI21E, RI29E, RI45E, RI51E, RI55E.

The data on this map is current as of September, 2025 as Spectrum continues to expand broadband in Madison County! We are excited with the progress that has been made and we are thankful to the many community partners that are working together to Connect Madison County!
To Find your status, search for your address in the search bar in the upper left of the map.Disclaimer: The shaded areas are a general representation of the locations, citizens may fall just outside the area or just inside the area, the map is used as a guide and for reference only. You will receive communication from Spectrum as soon as your area is available for service!

- Fiscal Court commits to financial investment of $750,000 of ARPA funds in January 2023.
-
Spectrum partnership consists of a three phase construction to serve all Madison Countians
- Phase 1 — RDOF area (1,300 activated as of Nov. 2023)
- Phase 2 (1,400) —State grant area (pole permitting in process).
- Phase 3 (2,200)— County portion and gaps in service (final design phase).
- A total completion date is currently not available. The longest portion of the project and of each phase is the Pole Permitting portions. The County’s contract does stipulate a total completion date based on the last pole permit being received in the last phase. Once the last pole permit is received we will have a better understanding of the completion date.
- Until then watch our interactive map and as areas receive pole permitting the different areas will change colors as service becomes available. we expect Citizens will see areas start to see some areas become available in Phase II during 2025
