ICfL Turns 125 on April 1
From stagecoach to high-speed internet, delivering books to Idahoans has changed in many ways since April 1, 1901, when the Idaho State Library (now the Idaho Commission for Libraries) was established by the Idaho Legislature. The State Library was charged with organizing new libraries and improving existing ones.
To celebrate, Governor Little signed a proclamation today commemorating the official start of statewide library service in Idaho.
