Appraisers Office Will Be Assessing Properties

The Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office is mandated by K.S.A. 79-1476 to re-inspect all real property in Pawnee County every six years. The purpose of this inspection is to verify that our data is current and represents the property accurately.

This year we will be working in the townships of Ash Valley, Lincoln, Orange, Shiley, Valley Center & Walnut.

Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office personnel can be identified by Pawnee County photo identification badges and will be driving a vehicle marked with the Pawnee County logo (Below).

Other routine work will continue throughout Pawnee County, such as reviewing recent sale properties, permits and parcels with new or demolished buildings. Property owners with questions may contact the Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office at 620-285-2915.
