Potholepalooza: Join the effort to keep our roads safe

In 2023, DTPW created Potholepalooza, an innovative program designed to raise awareness and encourage community involvement in identifying and repairing potholes throughout Miami-Dade County.
The program relied on the help of community residents reporting any potholes they encountered. Dating back to 2023, this continued initiative proves that when community voices and county action come together, real progress follows. The road ahead is now smoother.
Do you know of any roads that still need work? DTPW crews continue to be ready to repair potholes, and residents can still help by reporting potholes on Miami-Dade County’s roads by calling 311 or 305-468-5900. Residents can also report potholes online or by downloading the 311Direct app. Provide as much information as possible to help DTPW locate each pothole.
Potholepalooza has achieved impressive results. Here's the breakdown:
- April to June 2023 – Districts 4 and 8 – 560 potholes repaired
- Sept. to November 2023 – Districts 1 and 13 – 175 potholes repaired
- Nov. 2023 to Jan. 2024 – Districts 5 and 9 – 253 potholes repaired
- Feb. to March 2024 – Districts 3 and 7 – 117 potholes repaired
- April to June 2024 – Districts 6 and 10 – 145 potholes repaired
- March to May 2025 – District 12 – 23 potholes repaired
