MPD Arrests Suspect in 9th Street Stabbing
The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest of a suspect in a stabbing that occurred in Northwest.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., the suspect and victim were involved in an argument in the 1900 block of 9th Street, Northwest. During the argument, the suspect brandished a knife, stabbed the victim, and then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. A short time later, canvassing officers located and arrested the suspect.
38-year-old Marques Price, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill (Knife).
