BRIDGE Data Migration Update: April 1, 2026
As communicated last week, NDDPI has secured a new vendor to support the PowerSchool-to-Infinite Campus transition. Aurora Educational Technology (AET), a firm with extensive experience in this type of migration, is now assisting with the data migration efforts. In addition, an experienced team comprised of both state and district-level personnel will assist to ensure a smooth path forward with this initiative.
Below are important updates for districts as it relates to the data migration process.
Completed Activities
- The process to officially terminate the contract with Consultadd has been initiated.
- NDDPI's contract with Aurora Educational Technology (AET) has been executed.
- A cross-functional Data Migration team has been established.
- PowerSchool files that were extracted by the previous vendor (Consultadd) and made available to districts have been cleared from district SFTP sites due to poor data quality.
Current Activities
- New district trial site delivery has been paused by Infinite Campus.
- AET has begun extracting Batch 1 and 2 PowerSchool data (which is comprised of Schools, Calendars, Schedules, Census, Transcripts, Behavior, and User Accounts) for all districts. It is estimated that Batch 1 and 2 PowerSchool data will be accessible by all districts by April 8, 2026. Note: Data may frequently change as uploads are happening daily and business logic to extract the data may change. A total of four batches of data will eventually be extracted and made available to districts via their SFTP site.
Future Activities
- Starting April 8, 2026 (or before, if your district has been notified), districts should begin reviewing their Batch 1 and 2 PowerSchool data extracts via the state-provided SFTP site. If you have not already created your account to access your district’s SFTP site, please find those instructions here.
- As soon as possible, the Infinite Campus team will begin sharing reports with districts to assist with your data accuracy review and provide guidance on data cleanup needed within PowerSchool.
- Infinite Campus will resume delivering new Trial Sites/Resources to districts on April 14, 2026. That said, it is important to remember that not every district will receive trial sites on the same date. Your Infinite Campus implementation team will communicate your new trial site delivery date and schedule time to review.
Other Q&As:
Q: When will districts meet with our Aurora Education Technology (AET) representative?
A: Unlike the previous process with Consultadd, AET will not be scheduling individual data extraction alignment sessions with each district. Given AET has extensive experience in this space, and given the current time constraints, AET is placing their focus on accurately and efficiently extracting PowerSchool data and making it available to both districts and Infinite Campus.
Q: After reviewing our district’s data in the SFTP site, what is the process to submit issues or requests for additional data to be extracted?
A: More guidance on this to come. For now, please document these items locally.
Q: Will PowerScheduler data still be extracted as part of the data migration process?
A: Yes, Aurora has confirmed that the appropriate PowerScheduler data will be extracted whether or not your SY26-27 schedule has been committed, and whether or not your EOY processes have run.
