Perform Safe® Announces Next Quick Studies Course

Perform Safe LLC today announced the next edition of their Quick Studies online course. Conducting the Tabletop Exercise builds on skills learned in the first Quick Studies online course on the Incident Command System and guides the learner through conducting their own tabletop exercise. It is the second in a series.

“We’ve created these short, to-the-point training courses at a reasonable cost so that people can keep their Incident Command System skills sharp,” said Judy Benavides, managing partner and vice president of course development for Perform Safe. “By offering quality training, templates and examples, our students can finish the course and immediately put their new skills to work.”

NIMS, EPA and OSHA all have exercise requirements built into their programs. Tabletop exercises challenge the Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans for organizations, pointing out deficiencies and areas that require corrective action. It also raises the confidence level of Emergency Management Team members to be able to respond to incidents. This course will help organizations easily create their own exercises based on solid objectives and measurable results.
