Natayla’s accomplishment represents a significant milestone, and her success was celebrated with pride.
Young Adult Drug Courts provide an alternative path through the criminal justice system for nonviolent, drug-related offenders. Operating within the existing judicial framework, these courts use a team-based approach focused on rehabilitation. Their primary goals are to reduce recidivism and substance use among participants while promoting public safety. Through validated risk and need assessments, early and individualized behavioral health treatment, frequent and random drug testing, incentives, sanctions, and other supportive services, Young Adult Drug Courts give participants the tools to achieve lasting recovery and long-term success.
