International Anticorruption Day Celebration 2024
Description
In celebration of this year’s International Anticorruption Day, ADB’s Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) will host a knowledge-sharing session on Integrity in Private Sector Development: A Conversation to explore the intersection of integrity principles and private sector development to drive economic growth and positive impact in Asia and the Pacific.
The program features opening remarks from ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa and keynote remarks by Jane Nelson, founding director of Harvard University Kennedy School of Government Corporate Responsibility Initiative. Nelson will also discuss insights and experiences on private sector participation in a conversation with Xiangming Yi, equity partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm.
Objective
- Raise awareness on how business integrity plays a fundamental role in delivering development through the private sector; and
- Highlight the significance of ADB’s and its staff’s roles in ensuring integrity in ADB projects and activities.
