Louisiana St. to close at 11th St. and 12th St. for third phase of improvements project

Beginning Monday, September 30, City contractors will close Louisiana St. to through traffic at 11th St. and 12th St. to complete water service connections on the east side of Louisiana St. This work is associated with the third phase of the 11th St. and Louisiana St. improvements project.

Residents living in the 1100 block of Louisiana St. will be able to access parking spots from either side of Louisiana St. (i.e., from 11th St. or 12th St.).

The City anticipates this closure to end Friday, October 4, pending weather or other delays.

6th St. reduced to single lane each direction for road maintenance

Beginning Monday, September 30, City contractors will reduce 6th St. to one lane each direction near the 6th St. and Iowa St. intersection to complete road maintenance in the area. Traffic will remain uninterrupted, with one lane of traffic flowing in each direction.

The City anticipates this reduction to last up to 4 weeks, pending weather or other delays.
