TCEQ approves fines totaling $639,159

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $617,685 against 19 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: four air quality, two municipal wastewater discharges, six public water systems, and three water quality.

Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: one public water system and three utilities.

In addition, on Sept. 17, the executive director approved penalties totaling $21,474 against nine entities.
