SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: At the above date and time, an assault was reported to Vermont State Police on Main St and Railroad St, Wells River VT. The initial report entailed a male blocking another vehicle with his own, and assaulting the operator, then driving to Woodsville NH. Police and EMS responded and spoke with the victim, identified as John Scoppetta (78). Haverill (NH) PD located the assailant and identified him as Dylan Shaw (22). Investigation revealed a road rage incident occurred between the two, and Shaw ultimately pulled in front of Scoppetta bringing both vehicles to a stop, where he then physically assaulted Scoppetta causing minor injury. Vermont State Police located Shaw later at a residence in Wells River, where he was taken into custody and transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing. Shaw was issued citation to answer to the above charges and released.
