BCS and White Construction Company Redefine Art at the Iconic UT Blanton Museum

Navigating the intricacies and challenges of a college campus project, the teams, led by Miguel Castro, BCS Superintendent, Leonel Perez, BCS General Superintendent, and Paul Kaskie, WCC Superintendent, demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the project.

The construction project encompassed a sweeping civil revitalization, incorporating cast-in-place walls, pathways, bridges, stages, and decks. Interior enhancements extended to both the Smith and Michner buildings. With five distinct installations, the project demanded attention to detail, a challenge carefully executed by BCS Superintendent, Miguel Castro.

Collaboration was key, as BCS worked closely with the UT design team and three artists in a dynamic, ever-evolving commercial concrete project. The result is a truly distinctive environment within UT Blanton, featuring architectural marvels like radius walls, a towering 20-foot-high rendition of flower petals, and an intricate lighting installation.
