The Spiritual Care Association and Center for Spiritual Care & Pastoral Formation Extend their Successful Partnership
The field is always strengthened when we work together toward our shared goal of skillful, compassionate care for all.”
NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Spiritual Care Association (SCA) and the Center for Spiritual Care & Pastoral Formation (CSCPF) are pleased to announce an important new development in their ongoing partnership. — Eric J. Hall, Spiritual Care Association President and CEO
CSCPF has been named as an official Branch of SCA, deepening a relationship that has flourished since 2018. Over the past five years, the two organizations have established various areas of cooperation and mutual support. These include dual memberships, certification reciprocity, joint conferences, and other education initiatives.
Both organizations are committed to enhancing the quality of education and resources available to their members and to professionals throughout the spiritual care field.
This closer affiliation will allow SCA members to access the unique Practitioner Community Structure offered by CSCPF. This small-group model is a vital resource for chaplains and other spiritual care providers, offering an opportunity for mutual support and ongoing professional development throughout their careers. In addition, CSCPF members will have SCA’s deep reservoir of education and training resources available to them.
“We are excited to share this wonderful news of our growing partnership and look forward to making members of both organizations aware of these opportunities,” said Rev. Dr. Lily Godsoe, BCC, President of the Center for Spiritual Care & Pastoral Formation.
Spiritual Care Association President and CEO Rev. Eric J. Hall, DTh, APBCC, sees the collaborative efforts of SCA and CSCPF as “an opportunity to help increase the quality of spiritual care across the country.
