Bennington store sells winning ticket
Vermont Lottery officials announced today a $1,400,000 winning Tri-State Megabucks jackpot ticket was sold in Vermont for the November 10th drawing. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers, plus the Megaball number. Saturday’s winning numbers were 02-09-14-27-36; the Megaball number was 02.
 
The winning ticket was sold at the Bennington Shell on Northside Drive in Bennington. This is the second Megabucks jackpot win in the state in a month. The lucky ticket holder had not come forward by press time.
 
“It’s very exciting that we (Vermont) have two jackpot wins within exactly a month of each other,” exclaimed Jeff Cavender, Director of Marketing and Sales for the Vermont Lottery. “This Tri-State game offers the best odds, it’s our original jackpot game, and it’s usually local winners.”
