$11,500,000 Megabucks Winner in VT
Colchester store sells winning ticket
Vermont Lottery officials announced today a $11,500,000 winning Tri-State Megabucks jackpot ticket was sold in Vermont. The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers, plus the Megaball number. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 08-13-24-32-40; the Megaball number was 06.
The winning ticket was sold at Simons College Parkway in Colchester and is the first Megabucks jackpot win in the state since November of 2016. The lucky ticket holder had not come forward by press time.
Jeff Cavender, Director of Marketing and Sales for the Vermont Lottery stated, “It’s a great feeling when a Vermont Lottery player has the good fortune to win and to have it be the Megabucks jackpot is even better. This Tri-State game that we share with Maine and New Hampshire offers the best odds, it’s our original jackpot game, and it’s usually local winners.
