CVMP recommendations on limited market classification and eligibility for authorisation under Article 23

The European Medicines Agency publishes the recommendations by the Committee for Veterinary Medicinal Products (CVMP) under the limited market provisions of the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation. These include classifications on limited market according to Article 4(29) and confirmation of eligibility under Article 23.

The limited market provisions of the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2019/6) became applicable on 28 January 2022.

In the table below you can see if the CVMP:

recommended a limited market classification (in line with Article 4(29) of the Veterinary Medicinal Products Regulation);
confirmed eligibility for marketing authorisation (in line with Article 23 of the Regulation).
