This Brief looks at the current situation of youth employment with nearly two years of the crisis’ worst impacts now behind us. Drawing on ILO global and regional modelled estimates and complimenting with recent labour force survey results, the Brief provides an update of latest trends for young people, in terms of employment, unemployment, NEET and inactivity. It identifies where youth labour market outcomes indicate recovery and where challenges remain.
