A RESOLUTION

Recognizing the week of May 11 through 16, 2023, as "National

Police Week" and designating May 8, 2023, as "Police

Officers' Memorial Day" in Pennsylvania.

WHEREAS, Since the beginning of law enforcement within this

Commonwealth, hundreds of police officers have made the ultimate

sacrifice while in the line of duty; and

WHEREAS, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Martin Francis

Mack III made the ultimate sacrifice on March 21, 2022, when he

was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver on southbound

I-95 in Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Branden T. Sisca

made the ultimate sacrifice on March 21, 2022, when he was

struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver on southbound I-95

in Philadelphia; and

WHEREAS, Lebanon City Police Lieutenant William D. Lebo made

the ultimate sacrifice on March 31, 2022, when he was shot and
