NASHVILLE – A former Tennessee resident who won $4 million by entering a non-winning Jumbo Bucks 300X ticket into the Lottery’s VIP Rewards program plans to retire, work on crafts such as handmade puzzles and take a trip to Ireland.

“This truly is life-changing, it truly is,” said Kenneth C., 63, a computer technician formerly of Jonesborough and now a Florida resident. “I just can’t believe it. I’m speechless,” he told Tennessee Education Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Paul. “You don’t realize what you’ve done for me.” 

Kenneth’s wife Chrisell is also crafty and plans to enjoy painting and perhaps purchase a kiln to begin making pottery.

Play It Again! offers another chance to win a top prize from an eligible non-winning instant ticket. Players simply sign up for a free TN VIP Rewards account at tnviprewards.com. When they enter tickets, the tickets eligible for Play It Again! are automatically entered into drawings. Drawings are held multiple times per year. The program also deters litter by adding value to a ticket that might otherwise be thrown away improperly.

This recent drawing awarded more than $4.9 million in prizes ranging from $10,000 – $4 million to nine lucky winners, including Marvin H., a maintenance technician from Dowelltown.
