TAJIKISTAN, March 30 - On March 30, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in Mehnatobod area of Istiklol city, put into use the water supply line intended for the construction of a 150-hectare garden.

It was reported that this area is suitable for growing seedlings, and according to the experts' assessment, a good harvest can be obtained from this area. Therefore, the water supply line for the construction of this garden was drawn from a distance of 5.5 kilometers, and the water automatically reaches this point.

The water source is located in the Binokor area of the city, the water line to the newly built garden is drawn through large pipes with a diameter of 250 millimeters, and for continuous operation, irrigation facilities have been built using high-quality construction materials.

During the visit, the Honorable Head of state Emomali Rahmon was informed that the newly built garden was distributed to 40 families of the city, that after the planting of the seedlings, these families will get a good income from growing rosehips. Because the demand for it is high both in the domestic markets and as an export product it has its buyers in the markets of other countries. Also, the processing of this type of product in the form of jam and medical drinks is very well established in the region, and the newly built garden can play a major role in providing the needs of such workshops and enterprises with primary products.

It should be noted that the horticultural water line and the erection of the garden were organized within the framework of the instructions and orders of the Honorable Head of state Emomali Rahmon for the purpose of effective use of land in the territory of the city of Istiklol, and it is possible to increase the area of this garden to 187 hectares.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave useful instructions and advice to the officials and farmers of the city for the proper care of the planted seedlings and further expansion of the area of this garden and the development of rosehip production.

In the same place, the great Leader of the Nation also visited the exhibition of products of Forestry of Sughd Province.

At the exhibition, various products of this Forestry, as well as samples of sealed medicinal plants, various juices prepared from natural products of Tajikistan, and drinks prepared from pomegranates were displayed.

In this exhibition, it was also informed that last year the Forestry of the region collected 103 tons of wood and offered it to enterprises and other buyers for processing.

During the visit, the Honorable Head of state Emomali Rahmon instructed the officials to further take comprehensive measures for the quality collection of products and their modern packaging, and to increase the export of environmentally friendly final products with different brands to different countries.
