TCEQ approves fines totaling $718,167

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $649,732 against 25 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: six air quality, one industrial hazardous waste, one industrial wastewater discharge, two multi-media, four municipal wastewater discharges, three petroleum storage tanks, and eight public water systems.

No Default orders were issued.

In addition, on Nov. 15, the executive director approved penalties totaling $68,435 against 27 entities.
